Mission Statement

The Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary PTO encourages the development of quality education in our schools and cements the cooperative partnership of teachers, administration, parents, and the community for the benefit of our children.  These objectives are accomplished through various efforts including ongoing communication, educational enhancements, social activities, and fundraising programs for students, parents, and the school staff at FORE.

Unite. Empower. Succeed.

We are dedicated to ensuring our children have the necessary tools to succeed through their elementary careers and are prepared to tackle the big years of middle school head-on. The PTO board meets every second Tuesday of the month at 9 am. We have general meetings throughout the school year.

How does the PTO help?

Our goal is to encourage interaction between families and the school, serve as a source of support and work with administrators, teachers, staff, families and the community to improve our children's educational experience. We want your child to have the best experience possible during their enrollment at FORES. The PTO organizes special events such as Family Nights, Veterans Day, Field Day, Bike Rodeo and Cowboy Breakfast, as well as teacher appreciation, community service opportunities, yearbook design and sales, spirit sticks, and Mustang apparel.

We rely heavily on fundraising to support teacher grants for classroom needs, student field trips, strategic planning, technology improvements, on-campus events, and more! Any parent or guardian of a current FORES student as well as all current faculty and staff are invited to join the PTO in our mission.

ByLaws

The FORES PTO ByLaws describe the purpose of our organization, mission, member rights, voted executive board members, appointed board members, committees and their respective duties.  The most recently approved version was adopted at our May 11, 2020 General Membership meeting.  A copy of the approved bylaws is on record with BISD.  To download the most current bylaws document, click here.
