Do I have to attend the meetings?

No. We have meetings throughout the year, but they are not required. If you are unable to attend meetings, your input is still valuable to us, and we welcome comments and questions from PTO members at any time! Our executive board meets every month, and we have general meetings throughout the year.

Exact dates and times of both board and general meetings will be posted to our social media, so be sure you follow us to stay in the loop!

 

Do I have to volunteer?

No. We deeply appreciate our volunteers, but we understand that not everyone is able to contribute their time in this way.

What do PTO membership fees and fundraising profits pay for?

Your PTO membership and support dollars fund teacher grants, curriculum supplements, large technology purchases, campus improvement projects, field trips and other grade level programs, and much more.

What type of fundraising events does PTO organize?

FORES PTO hosts two major fundraisers throughout the school year.  One in the fall (I Love My School), and one in the spring (Cowboy Breakfast).  More details will be posted as they become available.
